Today I got an email from San Diego State University...
CLASS OF 2015 BABY!!!!
I was driving to my guidance counselor appointment to see about what my next steps are to get my ASL Interpreting certificate and what my next steps are to finally transfer and get my BA.
I was thinking, in the back of my mind, should I check my status with SDSU about my appeal after I got denied...
Well I was sitting in the waiting area and checked my emails and there was an email from SDSU Admissions office. My stomach flipped and I thought it was probably just my rejection...
It said CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
I about screamed... I texted my husband and my sister... And then told my guidance counselor that I got into the school that she helped me file the appeal for and she shouted WOOHOO with joy!
Just the reaction I needed!
It goes to show hard work, prayer, and perseverance gets you...
Like my Nana says...
"Whoever tells you 'No' don't take it. They are not God. Never take 'No' for an answer."
I am beyond happy... Ecstatic isn't even the strongest word!
Dreams are coming true!
