Skin care.
Something I love, love, love.
I am fair skinned, ivory if you will.
Amanda Seyfried is my skin twin (does that sound weird?)
We both have ivory skin, we also share the same natural hair color.
FACE:
1. Clinique Liquid Facial Soap
I love this stuff. In the warmer months I use oily skin formula and in the colder months I use the mild formula.
2. Clinique Clarifying Lotion
Again, the warm months and cool months define what kind I use...
warmers months: Clarifying Lotion 4
cooler months: Clarifying Lotion 3
3. Neutrogena On-The-Spot Acne Treatment
I use this every.single.night. I love this stuff. And at $5.99, it's a bargain.
4. Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel
I only use this at night. I find that using it during the day makes my skin a little too oily greasy moisturized.
5. Revlon PhotoReady Perfecting Primer
I just started using this primer, I love it. It makes my skin look soft and velvety before I put on my makeup.
6. Mary Kay TimeWise Microdermabrasion Step 1: Refine
I use this once a week to once every 2 weeks. It works. This stuff is no joke. I apply it with a wash cloth and really get it worked into my skin. Love.
BODY:
1. Neutrogena Body Clear Body Wash
Everyday. With a loofah. I scrub off all the lotion and sunscreen that I use. I love this stuff. It really works, and it wakes me up if I'm feeling a little sleepy. Win-win.
2. Eucerin Daily Protection SPF 15 Moisturizing Body Lotion
I use this on my legs if I'm wearing shorts or on my arms and chest if there isn't much sun out and I know my outside time will be minimal.
3. Eucerin Daily Protection SPF 30 Moisturizing Face Lotion
This is what I use on my arms, chest and shoulders most of the time. I have yet to find a lotion that has more than SPF 15 and is more geared towards the body. I love this because my upper-body sees the sun the most, besides my face, and I love how this feels on my skin.
Now I must admit, I wasn't always as religious about wearing SPF everyday. But after thinking about what I got going on, I want to stay looking young and fair skinned, I think it suits me. So I try to be as consistent as possible about covering up when I am going to be out for a longer period of time or sunscreening it up when I can't cover up enough because of the heat.
What are your routine skincare needs?
