Fashion Friday: Holiday Sheath

I know it's a little early...

But I want to start shopping for the perfect cocktail dress for my husbands work Christmas party.

Now most of these are gold and black...

I think there is something so chic about gold for Christmas/Holiday time.

Rock it with a bare leg, or tone it down with opaque black tights.

Green is so big this fall and this green sequin dress is right on trend. This wouldn't necessarily stand the test of time and translate to other seasons or years, but it would be fun for this Fall/Winter.

This dress is my runner-up to what I will actually buy. It has a little bit of a print, it's fancy, but not too crazy.

This dress is so pretty. It has a more fitted look to it, but the lace panel at the top makes it divine! I love it because even though the arms are covered, the sheer panel makes it sexy

 

Buy: 'Alicia' Lace Inset Jersey Sheath Dress by French Connection at Nordstrom $178.00

I love a polka dot. This shape and color makes this sheath more night time worthy and not so sweet.

This dress is simple and sweet... A good look for someone who wants to do it up at night by doesn't want to do anything too out there.

This is the perfect little black dress for me. I love the sleeves... The skirt and length... I love everything!!! I want it now!!

They only have one size left, but I hope to find something similar for myself. Love the sleekness of the shoe plus the showy toe... Super chic.

You could have this shoe for a very very long time... It is the perfect mix of subtle and style. I also love the D'Orsay style of the shoe... The front is a little off kilter. Love.
