Happy 4th of July everyone!!!!!
J. and I took the dogs to the beach and spent 2 blissful hours doing nothing but relaxing and keeping cool under our umbrella :) I'm now relaxing with a Skinny Girl Margarita while I wrap up this lovely day off!!!
What does the 4th mean to me? Well even though I am English, I have lived in the United States for a long time. I love this country so much, and I am so proud to call it home. I am glad to live in a country that gives women the rights that we have, to have the sun shine down on my heart everyday, to be able to walk outside and know that I will be okay to go and do what I want. These rights are what the men and women (we can't forget about the ladies) fought for when this great nation was being founded. So thank YOU America, for letting me live here, for blessing my life with rights that cannot be taken from me, for making my life full of endless possibilities. I hope that I (and we for that matter) make you proud.
U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love, Lucy XO
