I know that it's February, but just a few days ago I was wearing sandals and a long sleeved tunic! Now I am back in a sweater and a coat!!! Oh and on my feet? The comfy and practical Converse... I want it to get warm, and quick!!! I don't want to keep freezing my bum off!
J. got home from his business trip to Iowa (I bet it was even worse there weather-wise!) and I couldn't be happier to have him home!!! Hopefully he won't have to go on another business trip for a while, that would be nice!
Monday is my Nana's 75th birthday, so we are going to a brunch for her on Sunday! J. and I are also going to tell my grandparents that day that we are engaged! I was putting off telling my Nana (not worried about telling my Grandad, he goes with the flow) because she tends to like to do everything super sized and glamorous... And even though I don't mind a bit of glam from time to time, J. and I are not like that! We are a low key boho-hippie kind of a couple, and to keep everything easier for the wedding is what we wanted. We want the wedding to be like us... Not a steroids version of us!! Like I told my Mom, I want to look like a more polished version of myself, not a cookie cutter bride with my face plastered on!!! I am prepared to have to tell her NO about some stuff... Maybe I should just wait till the day before the wedding to tell her :P
Well ladies, back to the grindstone!
